Katie Gohde is a licensed professional counselor in Atlanta Georgia. She received her masters in counseling psychology from Northwestern University in 2005. Katie currently has a private practice in Buckhead where she sees a variety of clients including individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and those who simply feel a lack of purpose and direction in their lives. She specializes in perinatal mood disorders and enjoys helping new moms and couples in their transition to parenthood. She is also passionate about her work with marriages in crisis.
Katie is honored to be involved with Back To Life. She believes that often, people who are in deep emotional pain don’t know where to turn. They don’t think anyone will understand or be able to walk with them. They’re afraid of judgment and feeling lost so they resort to isolation and depression or worse - they end their own lives. It is her deepest hope that Back To Life will be a place that not only builds awareness but also strengthens communities and caregivers to be safe resources and support systems for anyone who might be struggling to find the will to carry on.
